NYC Design Week
I had to post this, I love it, not sure I’m into their work but hey its something to keep up morale.
I have fallen behind, at least as far as this post goes, which is more than past its sell by date.
So consequently I am left with lots of images and categories but far too many for one posting, I have ‘NYC Design week‘, ‘It was one of those nights’, I have ‘Cars and buildings’ (sounds geeky I know but they are a little secret passion of mine) we have ‘Faerie Heaven NY style’ (which is actually a much tamer version than its working title) and then finally ‘A round up of the shows events & an evening out with my super star friends La Mer and Clark’.
Oh and before I forget there is an Emerald Faerie outfit per post, just in case you had forgotten what I looked like.
So I best get started, first off for the 1st of June 2011 we have…’NYC Design Week 2011′

Hmm interesting use of hinges!
Frosted ‘bulb’ lamps simple but very effective.
At ‘Flos’ in Greene St Soho, here we have these cute granny style lamps in lovely perspex boxes to keep the dust off, (so you don’t need to be a feather duster granny when it comes to cleaning them) I have actually seen these before in Liberty in London but I can’t help but love them.
And what is this, a workshop installation?
I saw this work shop when I went to visit my friend my friend Valentina at her show, who now has a collection of chairs at the Bergdorf Goodman no less and even some in the window too-…Go Val Go Val…we love Val, check out ‘Val’ on Facebook for more photos.
And last but not least, me in the fab green flight suit customized by Spanish fashion designer Marta Leon Victor.
