Tis the season for planting
Tis the season for planting and scattering seeds..
The seeds were planted quite a while ago and now I am busy creating them, plants that is.
These ones don’t require water…in fact they hate it! This is my second batch of globe bound Trifid lamps, they are based on my earlier Trifid lamp check it out..
while I was looking I found this one which I completely forgot about..it is more Ikebana flower arranging than Trifid.
They start off life as a decorative glass object, carefully selected for their colour and texture and form..
Then they transform into a beautiful flower, this one has a double layers of petals
The shape of the stem is guided by the glass dome that will house it. Then there are all the little details and sparkles that need to be added, I think this might be one of my favourite stages. It means I get to look through all my collections of sparkling jewels searching for that one bit that belongs.
I love this flowers inner row of petals, perfect little shapes.
And into their little green houses that will keep them safe and warm..It is amazing how different they feel when they are placed into these glass domes, every detail and wrap of wire become important and precious.

With a little bit of Tender Loving Care we have a beautiful exotic and intoxicating flower…
and this is her darkside … her all consuming shadows.
As of Wednesday next week you will be able to see and buy these beauties over at 202 Westbourne Grove W11.
Now I must get back to my plants.
