Today was all about transforming an existing chandelier hanging in the Parlor at the ‘House of Wolf’…

The chandelier… too normal and traditional for this space…

Stripped of all the glass I love its frame work, I would love to keep the chains really long on it…but don’t think it would survive a Saturday night!

Ta da!

Simple and elegant transformation…gold chain, pearls, feathers and butterflies with metal lace lampshades…it will all make sense when you see the Parlor as a whole…I shall be back with more images as I finish my interior installation in the Parlor.

Oh and the wall lights got some new metal lace lampshades too..

Tailor Made suits …

The second fitting for my first ever Tailor made three piece suit…in Navy dog tooth (nice) and its made by none other than the master himself Mr Mark Powell..

I can not wait to get accessorizing, should I have a pocket watch chain.. a proper tie clip? am I going to wear a shirt and tie or scarf?! I don’t know! But I do know that what ever I decide on I will be wearing it with a pair of Mr Terry De Havillands.. and yes the suit is made to fit wearing his shoes.

Mark Powell dresses all the great guys, Mr Weller, Bradley Wiggins…so it is good to see him dressing the gals again! I shall be rockin this in NYC so watch out all you guys over there..

Recycled vintage Silver-plated cutlery, fish knives, jam spoons and salad forks are some of the favourites chosen for their quirky characters. Embellished with costume jewellery, metal chains, Swarovski crystals suspended from sterling silver chains or mounted on to brooch fittings. This collection is unisex and can be made to order.

I went to see the last day of the Tim Walker Exhibition ‘Storyteller’ @ Somerset house…

I am a huge fan of Tim Walkers work, I hope to see one day some of Emerald Faerie pieces in his shoots, or a collaboration that would be AMAZING.

Obviously there was no photography allowed in the exhibition, but this portrait of Xiao Wen, shot in London 2012 for American Vogue featured in the PUNK’D editorial August edition, stood out the most for me. I love the colour, the pin point of focus on her face, her eyes, she looks like a little doll and the wig! oh the Marilyn Monroe wig does it for me! I would love a copy of this to hang on my wall

So as I don’t have any more images to show you of the exhibition, (which is now closed) I thought you might like to see some of the sculptural ‘Portraits & Imagery’ that surrounded the exhibition that is Somerset House..

‘Numerous carvings and reliefs decorated the exterior of the building. Their main themes were patriotic – many had a marine motif, celebrating the Naval power and imperial ambitions of Britain at a time when both were growing’.

Prior to the construction of the building we see today, Somerset House was the site of a Tudor palace and ornamental garden, which was pre-dated by various churches, chapels and cloisters.

I think you will agree some weird and wonderful fantastical creatures inhabit Somerset House what a perfect backdrop to the exhibition.

I am really excited to see the chandelier I collaborated on with British fashion designer – Reem Alasadi at her Catwalk show in Tokyo!!

It is made from rusted steel, chains chandelier crystals and Bones.
