Were in the world am I?

Its just like I pictured it skyscrapers and everything…..

This is your dear roving creative Emerald Faerie reporting from NYC …..   what a jet set life I lead I hear you say.  Yes it is all part of my world domination take over plans.

I will be showing at the ICFF next week- which stands for ‘International Contemporary Furniture Fair’

Needless to say my getaway was not without its dramas. Thursday 5th am I was ready my things were packed,  all I needed now was for The truck from Milano to turn up on time so I could get the rest of my things.  Well it didn’t it was late, and horror of horrors no Emerald Faerie work was on board!

With four and a half hours to go till my flight panic starts to set in…I’m put in a cab and head to the trucks depo not far from the airport. But guess what, the Euston underpass is closed, the west end is gridlocked, its now 145pm and I am still in  central London!!   Finally  I make it out past Westminster and Big Ben, along the river heading west. I arrive at the depot,  grab what I need for the show and finally arrive at the airport at 310pm  just in time. This whole episode  was a spiritual experience that I do not ever wish to repeat!
